Otherwise Invisible

This project is a series of ultraviolet portraits, interspersed with portraits taken under the visible light spectrum. It allows viewers to see the dramatic difference between what skin looks like under the two light spectrums. The reward of ultraviolet photography is that we can document and study a world that is otherwise invisible. Like a photographic surface, our skin records our experience and through this light, it is exposed. This project explores the way different types of skin, at different ages records a life story.
